So when was this new name "Alkudia Smir" announced?

Isn't it typical, I set up a forum and they change the name

Which name do people prefer, Kabila or Alkudia Smir?

Should the name of the forum be changed? you can now get here through alkudiasmir.co.uk/.com

Has the new name been formally announced? Doesn't surprise me as Kabila is a bit generic. I wonder if Alkudia is a Moroccan name or is it a play on the Spanish Alcudia considering the developer is from Spain?

I prefer Alkudia Smir... If only because a search for "Kabila" on Google results in more pages about the new Congolese president than a Moroccan apartment development From a marketing perspective once the apartment is built and being rented, I think Alkudia Smir has a more Moroccan and more exotic feel to it although it may pose problems with spelling for those renters more used to the Spanish Alcudia..

I'd leave the url as is but change the site title to Alkudia Smir. Most people that have pre-registered will know it as Kabila, but I guess new buyers will not know this name in future so may not find the site on Google etc...
