FADESA to develop 'Laguna Smir' project north
Rabat, May 24 - The Spanish Group FADESA will develop the USD 400Mn "Laguna Smir" project in Tamuda Bay, located between the northern towns of M'diq and Fnideq, upon an agreement signed, here Thursday, between the Group and the government.
This project is part of the action plan "Tamuda Bay Products" that eyes to create 5,000 beds and develop tourism infrastructures to make more attractive the destination, said the Tourism ministry.
Speaking on this occasion, Prime minister Driss Jettou underlined the importance of this project and its role in developing the northern region and promoting the tourism sector, recalling the projects underway that are carried out by the Spanish group, notably Saidia resort station, Tangier City Center project and "Plage Blanche" project in the southern city of Goulimim.
